Volunteers play an important role in the function of The Mid Surrey Young Carers Project. They bring fresh skills and perspectives, which enhance our provision of services to the local community. The Mid Surrey Young Carers Project values their unique contribution. Volunteers also benefit from their volunteering by learning new skills and developing interests, being active, making new friends and getting involved in a rewarding activity. Also by putting their experience to good use to benefit others, and help in their community. Volunteers have a powerful influence on the success of our programmes, and on the young people they help.
