MSYC encourage working with other agencies to ensure that we are all supporting families and young people as best as we can. The new ten-year National Carers Strategy vision states that those professionals most regularly in contact with young carers and their families should have the knowledge required to identify problems early on and thus encourage young carers to come forward for the help needed.
If you feel you are working with a young carer and would like to refer to MSYC, please fill out one of our referral forms and post it to the office address or alternatively email it to us.

Surrey Young Carers have developed some great work within schools to assist them to support young carers by providing a free information service. If your school is in the Mid Surrey Area we will cover this work that is outlined so please contact our staff team as we work alongside Surrey Young Carers to make sure schools and young people are supported across the county.
